Proposal for Fisher Body 21 Plant, Detroit, MI

ETHOS’ President David Gura has submitted a proposal to acquire the Fisher Body 21 building and its environs to create a sustainable vibrant community. The proposal consists of building a state of the art modular facility (employing between 120-220 people) that will be used in part to construct major building components for the adaptive reuse of the FB21 building. The 600,000sf building will be converted into 160 total units comprised of studio (760-1047sf), two (1435sf) and three (1818sf) bedroom units either for sale or rental, home office space (19,000sf) along with 55,000sf of commercial/retail/museum space on the ground floor and interior parking for up to 516 cars in an automated parking facility. The proposal plans will turn the current open-air parking lot into a green public space with accessory parking.
